Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct auto painting and buffing to restore vehicles to optimal appearance.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repair costs and timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting as needed during vehicle repairs or part replacements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in automotive technology is a plus.
