A Water/Wastewater Treatment Operator is responsible for following established directives and training from the Chief Plant Operator and Supervisors in both the water and wastewater plants, providing high quality drinking water, and ensuring proper disposal of waste. This is an entry-level treatment operator position, with opportunity to be trained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant operation, plant monitoring, sampling, record keeping, service, and repair
- Maintaining sanitation of water through pipes to buildings and facilities
Additional Tasks:
- Provide good, clear, sanitized, effluent and dry sludge (bio solids)
- Manage distribution system and collection system
Salary : $37,400 - $53,200
