Residential Housekeeper / House Cleaner (1099 – Independent Contractor)

Job Summary
Humble Housekeeper, LLC is a fast-growing residential cleaning company looking to partner with reliable, experienced independent contractors to provide house cleaning services to our in-house clients throughout Northern Virginia (Loudoun County; Fairfax County; Arlington County; Alexandria City; Prince William County; Fredericksburg City; Stafford County; Spotsylvania County).

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented House Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential settings, ensuring that homes are welcoming and well-kept. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as you will be interacting with clients to meet their cleaning needs effectively.

As an Independent Contractor, you’ll have the flexibility to accept jobs that work for your schedule, supply your own equipment and cleaning supplies, and get paid weekly — all while providing exceptional service to our local customers.

Duties:

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Create a clean and healthy environment for your customers and their families.
• Execute floor care duties such as sweeping and mopping to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client requests and concerns in a professional manner.
• Supply and utilize your own cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure client satisfaction after every appointment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-years of professional residential cleaning experience.
• You must have your own cleaning supplies and equipment (vacuum, mop, towels, products, etc.)
• Must have your own active business liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb stairs if needed.
• Able to successfully pass a background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
