What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineering Intern position at Humanscale?

Responsibilities
- Support continuous improvement of products and processes using appropriate Lean and problem-solving techniques.
- Actively participate in the analysis of product defects/customer returns.
- Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and output.
- Conduct root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
- Write assembly instructions for production lines.
- Assist operations engineers with key initiatives and priority improvement projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years into Mechanical, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering curriculum.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with any CAD software (SolidWorks a plus)
- Computer programming skills a plus
- This internship is an onsite role based in Piscataway, NJ
Hourly Rate: $22.00/hour
