Compensation for the Production Technician
- $18 Per Hour
- Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 6 am – 2:30 pm
- Direct Hire position
Responsibilities for the Production Technician
- Work inside a controlled environment that is sometimes humid
- Ensure all necessary parts are properly assembled (which often requires wrapping in a special material that is time consuming, requires attention to detail and fine finger manipulation, like wrapping a part in tape for painting, or applying decoupage/plaster to an item)
- Watch continuously for FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and ensure that it has not compromised materials or parts
- Inspect each part for quality, clean the part per specifications, bag the part for the next process, and move to the next part
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Production Technician
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience
- Must be results-oriented and demonstrate analytical thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations
- High attention to detail
- Competencies: initiative / problem solving, teamwork / relationship building, safety, job knowledge, delivering results, continuous improvement
- Physical requirements: ability to lift of to 50 lbs., wear protective gear and follow proper safety precautions (lab coat, gloves, eye protection all provided)
