Role Overview

As a Research & Program Development Intern, you’ll support HWE’s research team in shaping evidence-based projects, creating training materials, and contributing to white papers and reports that directly impact the field of wellness and AI ethics. This is an opportunity to engage with meaningful work while building a professional portfolio.

This is an experience-based internship designed to provide hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development. While it is unpaid, interns gain free certification, portfolio projects, and direct involvement in cutting-edge AI and wellness research.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and evaluating research on AI mental heath tools.

• Participate in internal resource about AI

• Contribute to infographics, presentations, and briefs that share findings with stakeholders.

• Support data collection and analysis for ongoing projects.

• Collaborate on the development of ethical evaluation scales for wellness/mental health tools.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or recent graduate of social work, psychology, public health, communications, technology or related fields.

• Strong research and writing skills.

• Familiarity with APA style and academic sources preferred.

• Interest in AI ethics, wellness, or program evaluation.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative.
