Reporting to the Assistant Director, Residential Developmental Disabilities, the Manager, Residential Developmental Disabilities will oversee, in accordance with Maryland State's regulations (COMAR), well-established residential homes/units for adults with developmental disabilities located in Howard County, MD. Facilitating and actively participating in Person Centered Planning for adults with Intellectual/Development Disabilities while collaborating with team members to assist individuals served in obtaining their daily living and community integration goals is key to this role. Overseeing the client's medical needs in collaboration with the Delegating Nurse, as well as ensuring documentation compliance. This position will supervise Residential Registered Behavioral Technicians and Direct Support Professionals. - High School Diploma or equivalent required. Field Specific coursework and/or training or a bachelor’s degree in a related field of Social Work or Psychology is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Experience in a community residential setting preferred.
- Supervisory experience with a solid track record in successful supervision to include coursework, training, and/or a minimum of 3 years’ work experience in staff supervision, which may include performing as a lead worker overseeing the work of others.

Must possess strong proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, etc., payroll time keeping, client documentation systems.

Must Obtain Certified Medical Technician certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain an active, current certificate.

Understand and abide by the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) Code of Ethic and The Council of Quality and Leadership (CQL) accreditation.
- Must be capable of functioning independently with minimum supervision to achieve collaborative and person-centered outcomes while using good professional judgment in ongoing decision making. Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills are often required.
- Excellent oral and written skills (in English) required for ongoing communication with clients, staff, agency members, regulatory agencies, and the community at large to ensure alignment, clear messaging, and expected outcomes are achieved.
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance with a driving record of fewer than 5 points. Must have at least 2 years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license.
- Must have own transportation to include an operable and inspection worthy vehicle in which transporting clients is a required responsibility. In addition personal vehicle will be needed to complete visitations to the residential settings as needed during the day, evenings, and weekends.
- Successful background check and drug screening clearance required.
- Must successfully participate in the organization's continuing learning on issues of racial equity and equity in general.
