About the Role

Humani's fast-growing Human Capital Consulting Team is looking for a driven Senior Consultant. Reporting to the Director, Human Capital Consulting, you'll advise diverse clients and lead high-impact projects. Your role involves addressing complex challenges like organizational restructuring and M&A-driven operational redesign, assessing risks, and translating business strategies into human capital solutions.


This position is a hybrid role, based in the USA. At Humani, our hybrid work model means working primarily remotely, with on-site support at various client sites based on business needs. As such, local and international travel may be required from time to time.


What You Will Do

Client Management:

  • Act as the go-to Senior Consultant for multiple clients, addressing a wide range of HR and organizational-related needs, delegating work as appropriate.
  • Lead meeting with executives to surface critical insights, diagnose organizational challenges, and develop structured project roadmaps that drive actionable solutions.
  • Deliver and create human capital projects related to organizational design, workforce strategy, complex compensation projects, change management, mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, total rewards and client workshops.
  • Provide guidance on all people and change management aspects throughout the deal process, from due diligence to execution.
  • Conduct organizational assessments and lead organizational design projects, which consider people, process and technology solutions.
  • Identify, evaluate and mitigate people/organizational risks relating to business objectives.
  • Manage project plans, including management and oversight of the project stakeholders, budget and change management activities.
  • Keep up to date with current compliance developments and trends in human capital consulting and overall HR practices.
  • Review HR software and processes, spearheading implementation when necessary.
  • On-site HR Support: Support clients with the above-mentioned activities or any other support required in person, such as attending team meetings, delivering workshops, and more.

Operations:

  • Manage month-end responsibilities (i.e., time entry review, invoices, expenses, etc) for your portfolio of clients and other tasks as required.

Business Development:

  • Review RFP’s, access clients' context and priorities, and craft winning proposals that address core business needs.
  • Participate in or lead introduction meetings with prospective clients, and the development of new programs and service offerings with new or existing clients.
  • Share Humani’s offerings through professional networks (LinkedIn Blog Posts), word of mouth or other mediums as appropriate with the potential to attract new business.

Leadership & Workload Management of the team:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship and day-to-day management to project team members.
  • Manage performance and workload, and feedback cycles to maintain a strong culture of high performance with those you work closely with directly/indirectly, as it relates to your client deliverables.

Reporting & Metrics:

  • Work toward the achievement or progress toward set KPIs.
  • Maintain relevant business/operations/client trackers with accurate information.


Your Skill Set

  • A True Passion for Human Capital Strategy: Experienced in designing and implementing organizational systems and frameworks from the ground up, while continuously scanning emerging trends and best practices to optimize workforce effectiveness and long-term organizational success!
  • Client Relationship Management & Ownership: This role is responsible for owning client relationships, looking at the whole picture, and proactively leading a client's HR and organizational functions, bringing forward solutions to problems and managing client expectations.
  • Self-Motivation and Self-Discipline: Ability to work independently, and must be self-motivated to complete work promptly with minimal oversight in a timely manner.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Our team needs to interact with many of the client's employees at various levels of the organization and must provide exceptional and professional customer service at all times.
  • Attention to Data & Detail: Ability to analyze data and create client-ready deliverables (documents, PowerPoints, reports, etc.) with excellent attention to detail.
  • Creativity & Problem Solving: We’re looking for outside-the-box thinkers! Our HRBPs must have the ability to work through a problem with limited information and to take a problem or situation to the next steps.
  • Technology and HR Software: Experience with HR systems & programs including Microsoft Office, Google Drive and HRIS with a strong aptitude to assimilate to new technology.
  • Project & Change Management: Deep expertise in project management and organizational change, leveraging structured methodologies to align stakeholders, enhance adoption, and deliver successful engagements.


Who You Are

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of client-facing human capital consulting experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of managing complex initiatives related to People & Culture strategy
  • A degree or diploma in HR, business or a related field.
  • Strong business acumen and collaborative style to build relationships and quickly gain credibility with key stakeholders across various clients and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with working on mergers and acquisitions, large restructurings, including due diligence and cultural integrations.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, including the ability to design meeting and workshop agendas to build commitment to outcomes and drive decision-making.
  • Certification in an industry-standard change management methodology/framework (Prosci®, CCMP™, etc.)

  • Base salary $90,000-$115,000 with potential to earn up to 10-25 % of base salary through our annual performance-based bonus program (Total compensation up to $99,000-$143,750 ).
