The Technician works in a laboratory or office-like environment to assemble small parts for biomedical instruments. Team members are usually seated but can stand if desired with adjustable height worktables. Many of our products are high-tech, offering opportunities to develop skills and experience with lasers, microscopes, and test equipment. Extensive training will be provided to each Technician so that they can master various operations.

The Technician works in a laboratory or office-like environment to assemble small parts for biomedical instruments. Many of our products are high-tech, offering opportunities to develop skills and experience with lasers, microscopes, and test equipment. Extensive training will be provided to each Technician so that they can master various operations.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work at bench standing and/or sitting for 4 hours at a time.
- Visual acuity to read prints and precision scales and calipers.
- Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds occasionally.
- Adequate dexterity for using various hand tools.
- Minimum HS diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience with mechanical assembly/disassembly preferred.
- Prior experience reading and using blueprints and work instructions to build product preferred.
