What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Veterinary Program RVT position at HumanePro?
Job Description
San Diego Humane Society is hiring a Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for our Community Veterinary Program!
How You’ll Impact Our Mission
At San Diego Humane Society, we’re united by our mission to Inspire Compassion. One of the greatest challenges facing pet families in San Diego is access to affordable veterinary care. Our Community Veterinary Program (CVP) helps give owned pets the medical care they need, including low-cost preventative and basic sick care, pharmacy services, and basic grooming like nail trims and ear cleanings. Through these essential services, we help keep animals with their families and out of shelters.
This role delivers service at the gold standard level in alignment with the SDHS Way, to meet the needs of animals and the people who love them by leading with compassion, finding creative solutions, providing personalized care and building connections. If you’re passionate about making an impact in the animal welfare movement, we’d love to talk to you.
