  • Assist with euthanasia as required

Client Care & Education

  • Provide friendly, professional service to the public

  • Explain medical conditions, procedures, risks, and aftercare

  • Follow PPE and sanitation protocols to prevent disease transmission

Team & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers

  • Support safe workplace practices

  • Share impactful stories and photos with the Philanthropy team to highlight lifesaving work

This position is based at our Pueblo or Colorado Springs Wellness Clinic and may assist at either shelter location as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • At least one year of customer service experience (veterinary setting preferred)

  • Prior animal handling experience preferred

  • Strong communication and multitasking skills

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Ability to lift 25–40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods

  • Comfort working around animals, allergens, and cleaning chemicals

Weekend and evening availability may be required.

The Ideal Candidate

You are:
