The Humane Society of Charles County is integral to the promotion of companion animal adoptions in Charles County, MD.
We are seeking a full or part-time or contract Maryland-licensed Veterinarian to join our team dedicated to the HSCC mission to provide shelter and care for injured, and neglected animals through adoption, fostering, community partnerships, education, and affordable spay-neuter and vaccine services.
Our vets have flexible work schedules and fulfill a variety of tasks, including spay/neuter, rabies clinics, and/or medical evalution of shelter and community animals.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat animals for various illnesses and injuries
- Perform routine check-ups and vaccinations
- Conduct spay/neuter surgeries and other medical procedures
If you have a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, are licensed in Maryland, and want to work full-time or even just a few days a month, we want to speak with you.
