Kennel Manager
Salary: $42,000–$45,000
Full-time (5 days/week, some weekends & events)

At the Humane Society for Hamilton County, we’re a No-Kill shelter where every day counts. We’re looking for a Kennel Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, lead a team, and ensure every animal—dogs, cats, and more—gets the care they deserve.
What You’ll Do
· Lead & train staff in safe handling, cleaning, and adoption practices
· Keep daily operations running smoothly—sometimes for the entire shelter
· Oversee scheduling, performance, and team accountability
· Partner with volunteers & other departments to support our mission
What You Bring
· Leadership experience in animal care (shelter, clinic, boarding, daycare, etc.)
· Strong animal handling & behavior knowledge
· Ability to coach, motivate, and problem-solve under pressure
· A passion for animal welfare and commitment to our No-Kill philosophy
