The Market Director, Oncology Pharmacy Sales leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy for fulfillment. The Market Director, Oncology Pharmacy Sales requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across department(s)Responsibilities
The Market Director, Oncology Pharmacy Sales focuses on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s) and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.
This role requires a deep understanding of Specialty Pharmacy, and the ability to work with different parts of the overall Business. The Market Director, Oncology is responsible for building, and advancing a Sales Team, while focusing on strategy across all Oncology Territories. The ideal candidate has strategic marketing capability, strong collaboration skills, and
has a proven track record of success in all respects of Oncology, technical knowledge, selling techniques, interpreting/analyzing data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 or more years of pharmacy operations experience
- 4 or more years of management experience
- Exceptional leadership skills with an ability to set a vision, to lead change, and to coach/mentor others
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, interact with, focus, resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines
- Focused mindset on customer experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of business dynamics
- Proven successful experience in Oncology Sales
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Six Sigma/Lean Black belt or similar process improvement certifications
- Specialty Pharmacy operations experience
- Managed Care Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Visio (or similar process mapping tool) and statistical software packages
- Bilingual in English and Spanish--ability to read, write and speak both languages fluently
