Responsibilities
Humana is seeking Lead Technology Leadership professional for wellness mobile application development team that:
Acts as a liaison and collaborates with the business and functional stakeholders to deliver strategic business priorities.
Advances new ways of working (agile transformation) by following SAFE Agile practices, partners with business owners, product owners, enterprise leads and cross functional full stack value stream teams to produce high customer value and satisfaction at high speed.
Demonstrates rethink routine, embraces cloud and modern engineering practices to provide highly resilient, integrated world class Wellness technology solutions.
Responsible for meeting 99.9% application availability, meaningful reduction of impacted user minutes (IUM) and ensures customer get reliable, secure, and performant experience
Communicates effectively to the leadership team on wellness technology roadmap, status, risk mitigation plan and clearly explains complex ideas and technologies to non-technical audiences.
Successful experience leading complex technology projects producing metrics, measurements, trend reports and KPIs that meets department and enterprise goals.
Partners with product engineering, enterprise, quality, and marketing teams to analyze and help resolve customers' product related problems/issues.
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving customer experiences and embracing change.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to senior leaders
To be successful, the individual in this role must bring a strong combination of business acumen and technical knowledge and be able to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
4 or more years of project leadership experience
10 or more years technical experience
Experience working with software engineers in the development of applications and Humana's software development processes
Ability to build strong partnership and has proven track record of collaboration across business and functional stakeholders.
Result oriented with solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes to deliver technology roadmap initiatives
Responsive and ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other Advanced Degree
Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
Possess a solid understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Experience with mobile software application development
Cloud certification
Agile certification
People management preferred
Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.
Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
