What This Role Is:
This is a non-skilled supervisory RN role — meaning you are not providing continuous bedside care, but overseeing and supporting non-skilled services such as home health aides and personal care assistants.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients receive safe, appropriate care while maintaining compliance with state and agency guidelines.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments for non-skilled services
- Develop and update plans of care for personal care patients
- Supervise Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs)
- Perform supervisory visits and ensure quality of care
- Provide education and guidance to caregivers and families
- Ensure compliance with Medicaid and home care regulations
- Complete accurate and timely EMR documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Washington, D.C.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience required
- Experience in home health, personal care, or case management preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid guidelines is a strong plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
