Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic home health team in Blacksburg, VA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, restore function, and enhance their quality of life in the comfort of their homes.
Responsibilities

Carry out treatment plans as directed by the Physical Therapist to help patients achieve their mobility and rehabilitation goals.

Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, functional mobility training, and use of assistive devices.

Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Educate patients and their families on safe mobility practices and home exercise programs.

Document care provided, patient response, and progress in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Current and valid PTA license in the state of Virginia.

One year of home health or clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
