Job Summary
The Temporary Part-Time Junior Recruiter will support the recruiting team with candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and administrative recruiting functions. This role is ideal for an entry-level recruiter or HR professional seeking to develop their recruiting skills while helping connect qualified candidates with employment opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and assess candidate qualifications.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with reference checks, background screenings, and onboarding documentation.
- Update and maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Prepare offer letters and other employment-related documents as needed.
- Assist recruiters with recruitment campaigns and hiring initiatives.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the recruiting and HR team.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to recruiting goals and projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Previous recruiting, customer service, administrative, or HR experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, or administrative support.
