Caritas Family Solutions, formerly known as Human Support Services, is seeking to add a full-time Counselor to our premier team of mental health professionals to provide out patient mental health treatment in Monroe County, IL.
We are pleased to announce our new increased starting wage $25.50 - $30.00 an hour, depending on licensure.

Job Duties:
- Assessment of mental health conditions
- Treatment plan development.
- Provide therapeutic services for adults, children, and families.
- Case Management
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to address clinical needs.
- Advocacy, referral and linkage to recommended community resources.
- Complete required data entry and paperwork in accordance with program and agency policies and procedures, including but not limited to opening requirements, assessments, treatment/recovery plans, progress notes, treatment authorizations and authorization of medical necessity.
*One evening per week required.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
- Minimum of one year relevant job experience in counseling/case management.
- LPC or LSW is required
- LCPC or LCSW, or actively working towards this licensure, is preferred
- Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
- Experience working with the substance use population preferred, but not required.
- Must be willing to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable for auto coverage.
Salary : $26 - $30
