LPN / RN – Enhanced Respite Care
Location: East Stroudsburg, PA
Employer: Human Resources Center, Inc. (HRC)
Starting Rates:
- Enhanced Temp Respite: $26.00/hour
- Enhanced Overnight Respite: $17.00/flat rate per night
Schedule: Per diem, as needed
- The family requires 6 Enhanced Overnight Respites & 120 Hours of Enhanced Temp Respite per year

Human Resources Center, Inc. (HRC) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide enhanced temporary and overnight respite in a home-based setting. This role is ideal for compassionate nursing professionals who want flexible hours and the opportunity to provide meaningful, one-on-one care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide skilled support, including personal care, hygiene, and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Monitor health and safety in both home and community environments
- Support individuals in participating in meaningful activities and community outings
- Ensure comfort, dignity, and independence in a supportive home-based setting
What We’re Looking For:
- Active PA LPN or RN license required
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable professionals
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health needs (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
