Job Title: Home-Based Waiver Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time
Location: Honesdale, Pa | Wayne County
Pay: $1753
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible | 4Hours/weekly | Every other Saturday Anytime
What You’ll Do:
- Assist individuals in participating in meaningful community activities, like visiting parks or libraries.
- Support individuals with personal care and hygiene as needed.
- Provide transportation to community outings and appointments.
- Ensure safety, including managing elopement risks when or if necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
- Caring, patient, and reliable individuals with a passion for helping others.
- Ability to support individuals in community settings.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in caregiving, respite, or community support (preferred but not required).
Requirements:
- 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Background check and physical exam
- FBI Clearance required.
- Preferred experience with intellectual disabilities and mental health
