We pride ourselves on accuracy, efficiency, and excellent client service. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase/Refinance Closer to join our growing team at our local office.
Position Overview
The Closer will be responsible for managing the closing process for purchase and refinance transactions from start to finish. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to clients, lenders, real estate agents, and all parties involved in the transaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review closing documents, settlement statements, and closing disclosures for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, attorneys, and real estate agents to ensure smooth closings.
- Balance and disburse funds accurately in accordance with lender and company requirements.
- Review and clear title commitments, payoff statements, and lien searches.
- Schedule and conduct closings (both in-office and remote/mobile as needed).
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including TRID guidelines.
- Provide professional and timely communication to all parties throughout the closing process.
- Ensure proper recording of documents with the appropriate county or jurisdiction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in title, escrow, or closing (purchase and/or refinance transactions is required).
- Strong knowledge of real estate closing procedures, title commitments, and lender requirements is a necessity.
- Experience handling multi-state transactions is preferred.
- Proficiency in title software SoftPro, etc and Microsoft Office Suite is a requirement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills is a must.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment will be essential to be successful in the position.
- Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain) is preferred.
