What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Fitness Instructor position at Human Movement Lab?
Join Human Movement Lab team as a Group Fitness Instructor and help our members achieve their wellness goals through energetic, engaging, and expertly designed classes. Our focus is on providing group classes that feel like personalized training. We focus on promoting functional strength and science-based smart programming designed to provide rigor at any level.
In this role, you will lead group fitness sessions that cater to diverse skill levels, promote a positive community atmosphere, and motivate participants to push their limits.
While all are welcome at the Lab, our demographic centers on 35-55 year old women and non-binary folks, and we practice extreme inclusion. Our space is a safe space for all bodies, genders, sexualities, ethnicities, and levels of fitness, and it's vital we keep it this way.
We are currently looking to round out our sub list and add permanent classes taught by new instructors. While strength and conditioning is our focus, we would also be interested in chatting with mat Pilates instructors. For an instructor that's also a certified personal trainer we might have an opportunity to offer some 1:1 training clients.
