Energy Auditor/Quality Control Inspector
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School diploma, or equivalent, required.
2. Extensive experience in the area of new home construction, rehabilitation, and/or energy
efficiency techniques required.
3. Weatherization Program Pre- and Post-Inspector Certification required.
4. Must obtain Lead-Based Paint Certification within 12 months of hire.
5. Must possess ability to physically perform home inspections, including, but not limited to,
accessing attics and crawl spaces, climbing onto roofs, and lifting required equipment.
6. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, digital camera downloading, and ability to learn new computer programs.
7. Must have and maintain valid driver’s license, possess reliable transportation, and have ability to travel extensively throughout the service area.
8. Must pass a criminal background check.
WAGE
$28.00 per hour
Fringe benefits include, but are not limited to, four-day work week, paid time off and 11 paid holidays.
WORK LOCATION
Base in Caro
SCHEDULE
7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Thursday
Flexibility in schedule may be required

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide delegated supervision to assigned staff, as required. Supervision may include, but not be limited to, day-to-day direction at job sites and scheduling.
2. Acquire and maintain complete knowledge of, and comply with, required standards, guidelines, federal/state regulations and objectives of all programs within area of responsibility. As well as maintain Lead-Based Paint Certification and Home Weatherization, Pre and Post Inspector Certification and any other program required training/certifications.
3. Work in partnership with WX Foreman to ensure pre audit and post audit on homes are done correctly and ensure quality work in each home HDC assists.
4. Accurately complete all required forms for programs, as well as input required data into the State computer system.
5. Assist in maintaining project schedules and quality control checks and measures.
