POSITION TITLE: Practice Manager (Christian Pro-Life Organization)
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt
TYPE: Full time - Weekdays only - Onsite (Plano, TX)
REPORTS TO: Regional Director of Family Services
SUMMARY: The Practice Manager is responsible for the management of the programs, staff, and services directly related to the clients of an assigned Health Care Center in order to assist Human Coalition achieve its mission of existing to rescue children and serve families across America. Human Coalition is an innovative, energetic, compassion-driven non-profit organization with the purpose to end abortion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Management
Ensure that operational and medical policies and procedures are carried out by the client services staff, medical staff, volunteer receptionists, preventative care and continuum of care staff
Review client files and offer suggestions and encouragement to client service staff and volunteer receptionists
Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss client and staff needs
Oversee client records and effective follow-up of clients by client service staff and volunteer counselors
Oversee training and operation of the client service staff and volunteers
Oversee scheduling of all client service staff, medical staff and volunteers
Attend weekly staff meetings
Plan regular interaction with the Regional Director to relate client or client service staff and medical staff needs, progress of client programs and services, problems, goal setting and implementation
Interview and make recommendations for hiring of program staff
Provide leadership, direction and supervision to program staff
Conduct yearly written and oral performance evaluations of personnel
Responsible for the Life Decision (LD) & Effective Rate (ER) for Client Services at assigned WCC, including reporting the most accurate numbers and working to operate each area effectively
Responsible to change personnel, client flow process, and training if needed to effectively produce results for LD and ER
Client Services
Oversee the compilation of statistical reports, accurate record keeping, and present reports to the Regional Director weekly
Evaluate, select and maintain the needed educational materials and referral resources for client use
Provide client counseling and services when staff is not available
Maintain policies and procedures manual for the operation of the WCC and ensure compliance of those policies and procedures
Oversee client counseling and all other services and programs provided for clients
Work with nurse manager, client service staff and sonographers as a team to ensure that clients receive excellent service at all times
Ensure the medical staff complies at all times with the doctor’s standing orders, policies and procedures
Ensure WCC always complies with relevant federal, state and local laws
Ensure that all programs and services are following all office policies & procedures and are providing excellent standard of care
Preventative Care (if offered at assigned location)
Oversee the Abstinence Education program
Evaluate program for its effectiveness, providing resources, training, reporting methodology that improves quality of each area
Ensure program always complies with relevant federal, state and local laws Training
Develop and nurture client service staff, medical staff and volunteers to assist in operational procedures
Hold regular meetings with staff to discuss client and staff needs, progress and goal setting, and implementation
Public Relations
Work with the Continuum of Care Coordinator to maintain a working relationship with organizations that refer or accept referrals from the WCC
Participate in speaking engagements and special events as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field
(3) – (5) years of experience in a helping profession or in a position requiring management experience or equivalent
