One of the three largest school districts in Oregon, our district serves 38,000 students and is home to more than 250,000 residents. Home to Nike and the “Silicon Forest,” Beaverton is an exciting, cosmopolitan community — far more international than most cities its size. About 40 percent of Beaverton residents identify as a person of color and nearly 20 percent were born outside of the U.S. Families in our district speak more than 100 languages at home.
