Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Type: Contract to hire
Pay: $19.00 - 22.00/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday (9:00AM - 6:00PM)
Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a reliable and detail focused Warehouse Associate to support daily material handling and inventory operations. This role is responsible for receiving and offloading incoming materials, completing inspection documentation, stocking and organizing warehouse inventory, distributing materials to internal departments, tracking shipments, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offload incoming materials from trucks using a forklift
- Inspect materials and complete all related documentation
- Stock and organize inventory according to first in first out practices
- Distribute materials to appropriate departments
- Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Track incoming shipments and resolve any delivery issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks
- Basic computer skills with solid written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Effective time management and ability to work independently or in a team
- Willingness to work occasional overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Current forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all company policies and guidelines
