At Earth Fare Our Team Members ensure that our customers’ visit to our store is fulfilling, having had all their questions answered and their shopping needs met. We hope that each customer leaves with a sense of having experienced community, knowing that we are excited to see them again soon.

Scan Coordinator

Contributions

• Scanning items to ensure proper pricing, updating store signage to include displays, shelf tags, and Mettler-Toledo scales to reflect accurate information. Audit store pricing on a continual basis to verify accuracy. This person trouble shoots any pricing problems and communicates effectively with Home Office Pricing Department and Store Team Members. Provides exceptional customer service at all times and maintains a well-organized, safe working environment

• Assist various Departments within the store as needed on special pricing of products being reduced or forced out of inventory. Trains store Team Members on the use of the Mettler-Toledo scales and computer sign program when necessary. Assists with Store Inventories and audits as required

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills with close attention to details

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word & Excel). Ability to learn and use a Falcon hand-held computer scanner and computer sign program

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently with little supervision

• Earth Fare experience preferred

Environmental Conditions

• Works independently in a fast-paced environment

• Works in a customer service oriented setting

• Will be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures for brief periods of time

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. (In the event an item weighs over 50 pounds the Team Member should have another member of the team help lift the item)

• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat

• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads

• Must be able to stand and be on ones feet the majority of the work day
