What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Host/Hostess position at Hulsing Hotels/ Earth Fare / Accucare?
Seeking a host to join our team! The host is one of the most crucial positions in a restaurant. The host is the first person the guest see and engages with. A Host also controls the flow of the restaurant the entire shift.
- Answering Phone
- Knowledgeable of menu items and specials
- Room service & To Go orders
- Seating guests and answering initial questions
- Providing wait times when necessary
- Ensuring cleanliness & hygiene standards are met in FOH as well as some areas in BOH
- Assisting with opening and closing of restaurant
- Assigning guests to tables they prefer while being mindful of rotation so servers receive the same amount of tables
- High School Diploma/GED
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Complete any side work assigned
PAY: $15.00 plus possible tips from room service & to go orders.
Must be flexible & available to work weekends, holidays, Day/Night
