Duties
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely payment.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Utilize ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding for diagnoses and procedures as necessary.
- Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and resolving any billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate coding and documentation for services rendered.
- Stay updated on managed care policies and changes in insurance regulations.
- Provide support for office operations, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Collect Medical records from other providers
- Be able to present care plans to patients
