Hull-Daisetta ISD is seeking a reliable and service-oriented Technology Assistant to support the daily technology needs of our campuses. This position plays a key role in ensuring that students and staff have access to functional, efficient, and effective technology resources.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for staff and students, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, maintain, and repair computers, printers, and other instructional technology equipment
- Assist with setup and support of classroom technology (projectors, interactive boards, etc.)
- Respond to help desk requests in a timely and professional manner
- Manage user accounts and assist with password resets and access issues
- Support device deployment, inventory, and basic network maintenance
- Assist with technology upgrades, updates, and system maintenance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a school environment
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in a school or educational setting
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Windows devices, and common educational technology tools
Work Environment:
- School campus and district facilities
- May require lifting and moving technology equipment
