As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in bringing our surf shop’s brand and products to life. You’ll be responsible for curating creative, visually appealing displays that capture the spirit of island life and drive customer engagement. Your work will help showcase our products and tell a story that resonates with both locals and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Create and Maintain Visual Displays:
- Design and implement eye-catching product displays that align with the shop’s brand, promotions, and seasonal themes.
- Regularly update displays to keep the shop fresh and engaging.
- Brand Storytelling:
- Use visuals to tell a story that reflects the island lifestyle and connects with our customers’ interests in surfing, paddling, and outdoor activities.
- Space Optimization:
- Maximize the use of store space to create a welcoming and organized environment.
- Ensure product placement enhances accessibility and customer flow.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the shop owner, sales team, and inventory staff to understand product priorities and upcoming promotions.
- Trends and Competitor Awareness:
- Stay updated on retail and design trends to bring fresh ideas to the store.
- Research competitor displays to maintain a competitive edge.
- Customer Focus:
- Understand customer preferences and use that knowledge to create displays that inspire purchases.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
