Duties
- Prepare and organize ingredients for menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry station, ensuring all food items are stored properly and labeled correctly
- Support the kitchen team during service by ensuring timely assembly of dishes and replenishing supplies as needed
- Follow strict food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Contribute to menu planning efforts by providing feedback on ingredient availability and freshness
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
