Job Title: Specification Writer/Technical Documentation Specialist
Rate: $84.23/hr
Duration: 6-month initial contract, up to 2-year maximum
Location: North Las Vegas, NV
Short Summary about Job:
HukariAscendent is seeking a technical generalist to supporta National Security Site. This resource will collaborate with subject matter experts across various engineering disciplines to develop Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) for simple to moderate complexity projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can manage multiple FRDs concurrently and meet development schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- General experience with facilities and equipment
- Ability to work independently using available resources
- Ability to manage multiple FRDs concurrently and meet development schedules
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
- Highly motivated and self-directed work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) or similar engineering requirements documentation
- Familiarity with DOE or nuclear facility environments
- Experience working with multi-discipline engineering teams
- Background in technical writing or specification development
