Job Title: Mechanical Stress Analysis Engineer
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Location: Remote
Summary:
We are seeking a Contractor to perform mechanical stress analyses including mechanical and thermal stress, fatigue, creep, and/or creep fatigue
- Perform structural joint configuration evaluation and optimization using models and methods
- Perform non-record evaluations of various configurations and joints to assess the benefit of modifications or evaluate alternative changes to employ
- Work with component design leads and analysis engineers to evaluate specific component issues, perform analyses to ASME BPVC Section III code methods and allowables, and provide insights and feedback to design teams for action
- Perform follow-on scope for preparation and/or Design Verification of ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and Division 5 stress, creep and fatigue analysis – HBB, HGB, and NF
- Use existing models and methods defined by the Natrium analysis team and work inside the analysis suite
- Qualification indoctrination to quality program to perform preparation or verification activities
Required Qualifications:
- Experience and expertise in ASME BPVC Section III, Division 1 and high temperature applications
- Strong communication skills desired.
- The service provider will possess a high degreeof trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamwork.
