What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deployment Scheduler position at Hui Huliau?
AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Deployment Scheduler to join their team in Washington, DC. The qualified candidate will maintain the installation and upgrade the schedule updating it weekly. They will prepare trip schedules for Government approval at least ten days before any deployment trip.
They will also prepare plans for pilot and beta system support trips within five days of Government approval. The qualified candidate will adjust deployment trip schedules for special circumstances including rapid deployment of new or complex applications. Tracks schedule commitments across deployment and installation teams.
Coordinates scheduling with shipping and receiving, deployment, and training elements. Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on assignments, performing work under supervision. Experience and Skills Strong knowledge of project scheduling, deployment planning, and installation coordination principles.
Experience developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules using project management or scheduling tools. Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent deployments while meeting established deadlines and milestones. Experience preparing deployment, installation, and travel schedules for technical implementation teams.
Ability to coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, including logistics, shipping, receiving, deployment, training, and technical staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, management, and technical personnel. Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent deployments while meeting established deadlines and milestones.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with 3 years of experience; OR Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 1 years of experience. Physical Requirements Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment. Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds.
Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures. Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations. Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.
Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment. Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories. Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel.
May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task. Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks). No forklift operation assumed unless separately certified and required
