Position summary
Perform daily and periodic custodial and janitorial cleaning at Building 77 to the contract quality standards, in a secure, Restricted-Area Federal facility.
Essential duties
- Daily cleaning (Monday to Friday): restroom cleaning and sanitation, trash and recycling removal, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and breakroom and kitchen cleaning (PWS 6.1).
- Weekly, monthly, and semi-annual tasks: detail cleaning, high dusting above 7 feet, machine scrubbing, and floor strip, wax, and refinish (PWS 6.2 to 6.4).
- Restock restroom consumables; police entrances, lobbies, and corridors.
- Operate vacuums, floor machines, and extractors safely; use chemicals per label and safety data sheets.
- Follow all conduct, safety, and security requirements; wear the company uniform and badge; do not touch or disturb Government materials.
