ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following.
- Receive all inbound shipments into the facility and communicate/distribute as necessary
- Record and verify all daily inbound LTL shipments to satisfy all SDS/SQF requirements
- DRP receiving in BPCS for inventory accuracy
- Order Pick Release (set out orders, create SWRAP Report)
- Communicate all Order Notes and Special Shipping instructions on Picking List
- Assist Shipping Clerk as needed to exceed On Time & Complete shipment goals
- Order Pick Confirm as needed
- Responsible for receiving, verifying and documenting all inbound shipments to this facility
- Generate Daily SWRAP Report
- Coordinate and release needed paperwork to have orders picked, loaded and shipped
- Assist in loading and ASN labeling as needed
- Operate forklift, reach truck and clamp as needed
- Maintain good housekeeping in finished goods and raw material areas
- Scan or record items put into locations to allow input into system (BPCS).
- Primary backup for Warehouse Shipping Clerk
- Handle special assignments to assist cycle counter in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Capable of lifting a maximum of 50 pounds.
- Other duties as may be assigned, including assisting all Warehouse positions as needed
- At least 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment and/or shipping and receiving helpful.
- BPCS experience is helpful.
- Have the ability to work with different departments, facilities and trucking companies
- Strong communication skills via email and phone
- Proficient in BPCS, Excel, Access, Transition Works, and Lotus Notes
- Must be able to manage time wisely and perform job functions with a high degree of accuracy
