Huhtamaki, a leading supplier of drinking cups, frozen dessert, and food packaging containers, has an immediate opening for a Quality Analyst in the Fulton, New York facility. We are looking for new members to join our team who are aligned with our core values of commitment to excellence; customer service and accountability. The Quality Analyst will work with varying levels of internal and external personnel to ensure the highest level of quality and food safety for all products produced at the Fulton, NY facility. This position offers opportunities to grow with experience, challenging assignments, and continuous learning. The Quality Analyst will report directly to the Fulton Quality Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work safely utilizing Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work across varying levels of manufacturing to ensure the highest level of quality and food safety.
- Manage the facility's supplier approval, complaint, and claim process. This requires working directly with internal personnel and suppliers. Create quality reports and update quality KPIs.
- Lead and participate in quality continuous improvement projects/teams utilizing problem solving tools.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits.
- Utilize the BPCS inventory management system to identify and track products.
- Effectively use EtQ “Excellence Through Quality” software.
- The Quality Analyst plays an integral role and has several responsibilities in the Fulton SQF certification program.
- Maintain and create regulatory, supplier, and company-required reports, trends, and SOPs.
- Assist with the company EWO (Experimental Work Order) process as needed.
- Conduct raw material and finished product testing.
- Manage trial sample room inventory and organization.
- Meet all company requirements and follow all established policies and procedures.
- Accredited High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in Foodservice and/or paperboard manufacturing preferred.
- Must have high interpersonal skills, along with strong communication skills with both internal and external personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word is required.
- Experience and knowledge in Foodservice and/or paperboard manufacturing preferred.
- Understanding of SPC and DOE is preferred.
- Strong problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to multitask and have good organizational skills
