Line Filler - Dubuque

Purpose
To ensure the food line and sauce bar are fully stocked, clean, organized, and maintained in accordance with company standards for freshness, food safety, and presentation. This role is also responsible for engaging with guests in a positive and helpful manner to enhance the overall dining experience. FRCG requires dedication from all Team Members to deliver quality products and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with established recipes, procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain proper stocking, organization, and presentation of the food line and sauce bar throughout the shift
• Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health code standards are consistently followed
• Label food items accurately and practice proper rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the walk-in cooler and storage areas
• Safely operate kitchen equipment in accordance with company safety standards
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to guests while they move through the line
• Answer guest questions and accommodate special requests while maintaining food quality and safety standards
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by ensuring the line is clean, stocked, and operating efficiently

Additional Duties

• Engage with guests in a professional and welcoming manner
• Respond promptly to guest needs and requests
• Support BOH and FOH Team Members with food line and kitchen responsibilities
• Complete all assigned cleaning tasks and side work as directed by management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (100%)
• Ability to work at approximately 34-inch food bars or tables and reach within that range (75%)
• Ability to reach overhead, bend, stoop, twist, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks (75%)
• Ability to work continuously at a fast pace under pressure while maintaining quality standards (60%)
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds for distances of approximately 20 feet, occasionally involving stairs; lifting belt required (15%)
• Continuous use of hands, arms, and upper body movement throughout the shift

Essential Training Requirements

• Successful completion of all required hourly training, including follow shifts, demonstrations, training materials, and assigned videos
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company uniform standards

• Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude
• Ability to stay organized and perform effectively in a fast-paced setting
