- The Liquor Clerk at Hugo's Wine and Spirits is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maintaining the liquor department's operations. The role involves accepting deliveries, stocking shelves, building displays, and operating the cash register. The Liquor Clerk plays a crucial role in assisting guests with their purchases, ensuring compliance with state alcohol laws and regulations, and contributing to a welcoming and efficient shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accept deliveries and ensure the accurate stocking of shelves with liquor products.
- Build and maintain attractive product displays to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Greet guests warmly and provide assistance in locating products and answering queries about alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain knowledge of state alcohol laws and regulations to ensure responsible sales practices.
