Full-Time Staff Physical Therapist - Albany, GA.
POSITION GOAL To provide the highest level of patient care while accessing, interpreting, planning and implementing prescribed physical therapy treatment plans.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
? Plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy (PT) treatments for patients suffering from injuries or disease and to restore function, prevent disability and relieve pain.
? Consults with physicians and/or other departments about the impact of PT factors on patient heath status.
? Documents findings, treatments and other patient information for medical record as necessary. Bills patients according to proper procedures.
? Educates patient/family on appropriate care and use of various therapies and/or exercises.
? Serves as an information and education resource for patients, families and other members of the therapy staff.
? Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
? Performs related work as required.
? Recommends solutions to patient care problems.
? Maintains patient confidentiality
? Performs other duties as assigned.
HUGHSTON RESPONSIBILITIES
? Utilize effective communication skills (written and verbal) interacting with co-workers, other clinic employees, supervisors, and outside vendors.
? Promote The Hughston Clinics role in the community by greeting and interacting with all patients, families, visitors, vendors, and guests in a courteous and respectful manner.
? Provides support or relief for other staff as needed.
? Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects to include both patient and non-patient issues.
? Reflect THC values and is sensitive to THCs ethical and compliance principals in his/her daily activities.
? Promote resolution of concerns and conflict by routing through correct mechanism or resolving the situation.
? Able to prioritize daily functions/tasks
