What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse Full Time position at Hughston Clinic?
POSITION GOAL
To effectively manage the care of patients using knowledge, clinical skills, judgment and decision making skills for the specific skills.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver exceptional patient care utilizing guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
- Review, evaluate and take appropriate action regarding results of diagnostic tests. Administer medications according to appropriate policy.
- Assist with patient care activities as required.
- Regular phone calls to advise/educate. Assist with treatment plan/education as necessary. Re-directs as necessary.
- Make appropriate documentation entries in medical management system/EMR.
Experience:
Required:
- One (1) year Orthopaedic Nursing experience.
Education:
Required:
- Education required for RN license.
Preferred:
- BSN
Special Qualifications:
Required:
- Valid Drivers License, satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) and proof of insurance required for position on-boarding.
- Annual MVR may be required per policy and procedure; background reports may be ran as needed throughout the course of employment.
- Must maintain BLS certification at all times.
- Must comply with HIPAA requirements at all times.
- Must have knowledge of the health care field and medical specialty.
