We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that foster literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and overall development
- Support daily classroom activities, including circle time, play-based learning, and structured routines
- Provide attentive toddler care by supervising children during activities, meals, naps, and outdoor playtime
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support individualized learning needs, including working with children with autism or disabilities when necessary
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood education
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles such as Montessori methods or childhood development best practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, and math activities for toddlers
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively and implement behavior management strategies
- Certification or coursework in special education or early childhood education is advantageous
