Washing Operator: McHenry, Illinois
Our customer in McHenry, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Washing Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift. As a Washing Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and flow of parts through the washing process, ensuring products meet specifications before moving to the next stage of production.
Responsibilities of the Washing Operator:
- Retrieve parts to be washed and load them into automatic or tumbler washing machines.
- Apply custom extension, compression, and torsion springs, as well as wire forms, to the dispensing industry products.
- Inspect washed products to ensure they are in good condition and meet quality standards.
- Record daily production information on log sheets accurately.
- Weigh, pack, and label products for storage or shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks, to move materials as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with coil or spring products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
Pay for Washing Operator: Starting at $17/hour
