What You'll Do
As an Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Perform engine, brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, and transmission repairs
- Complete routine maintenance and manufacturer-recommended services
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify needed repairs
- Conduct New York State Safety and Emissions Inspections (or obtain certification)
- Document repair recommendations accurately
- Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate findings
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Tekmetric software experience a PLUS
- Experience working on domestic and import vehicles
- NY State Inspection License or willingness to obtain one
- ASE Certifications are a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
