Dump Truck Drivers are responsible for transporting materials and ensuring accurate, efficient and safe delivery of merchandise to job sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport materials to and from job locations.
- Inspect truck for defects and ensure it is in a safe operating condition before, during and after trips.
- Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skill sin maneuvering at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, off-road and tight loading docks or yards.
- Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle.
- Promptly file written report of any accident or incident involving driver or company equipment to supervisor and Safety department.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift to 40 pounds
- Must have a clean CDL Class A license
- Must have held a clean CDL license for a minimum of 2 years
