What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Hughes and Jakson, LLP?
Our firm is hiring an associate attorney who will assist us by drafting pleadings, drafting and reviewing discovery, conducting legal research, maintaining client files, and assisting legal counsel. The ideal candidate will have family law experience, some courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills. FAMILY LAW EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS or RELATED EXPERIENCE, i.e. CIVIL LITIGATION.
Qualifications:
· Candidates must have passed the bar exam or be waiting for bar results.
· Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree.
· Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary.
License/Certification:
- California Bar license (Required)
