Service Department Scheduler

Immediate availability for individuals that are highly productive excel in customer service! We are seeking energetic individuals to join our thriving and fast-paced Business Development Team as a Service Department Scheduling Representative. You will be required to contact and follow up with our service customers and improve customer retention. Daily duties consist of inbound calls, high volume outbound calls and helping customers through the dealerships service process.

In this role, you will be the link between our service customers and the service department. You will assist the customer by scheduling their vehicle for service. You will be on the phone most of your day, so a strong passion for helping customers and developing your skills is crucial. We have an in-house training team dedicated to your success; offering online and in-store training programs with our manufacturers. 

In addition to your service scheduling responsibilities, this role also splits time supporting our service department as a service cashier, based on business needs. Duties include collecting customer payments, balancing the drawer, light office work such as filing and scanning, and keeping our customer waiting area stocked and welcoming. Responsibilities

• Answer customer calls and establish follows-up with service appointments.

• Respond quickly to internet and phone inquiries using email, scripts and templates.

• Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources.

• Follow up calls with customer after service visit

• Participate in team and process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, service teams and dealership management.

• Utilize CRM tracking system daily.

• Collect customer payments and balance the cashier drawer.

• Complete light office duties such as filing and scanning.

• Maintain the customer waiting area, including coffee service and general upkeep.

Qualifications

• At least one previous role based in customer service experience

• Excellent teammate with collaborative attitude and eagerness to improve

• Prompt and courteous demeanor

• Positive and hardworking personality

• Strong computer skills

• Previous call center experience is a HUGE PLUS

• Valid driver’s license

• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
