Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Occasional Weekends as Needed

We are looking for a true Senior Technician — someone who can run a bathroom remodel from start to finish, take pride in the details, communicate professionally, and help us deliver the type of work clients are excited to refer.

This is not an entry-level tile position. We are looking for someone with proven shower waterproofing and tile installation experience.

Who We’re Looking For

You are an experienced remodeler/tile installer who knows how to build a bathroom the right way. You can handle demo, prep, waterproofing, tile layout, shower pan systems, wall tile, floor tile, finish details, and final punch-list items.

You should be comfortable running jobs independently, but you will not be completely on your own. We bring in helpers and additional support as needed. The right person can lead a job, stay productive, communicate clearly, and work well with the rest of the team.

Most importantly, you care about the details. We do not want someone who cuts corners, milks the clock, shows up late, or refuses to be a team player.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running bathroom remodels and tile projects from demo through completion
• Installing shower pans, wall tile, floor tile, niches, trims, and finish details
• Waterproofing full showers using systems such as Schluter, HydroBlok, Wedi, GoBoard, or similar
• Moving and connecting most standard bathroom water lines when needed
• Handling basic remodel electrical tasks such as moving switches, vanity lights, outlets, fan/light connections, and similar items when appropriate
• Knowing when a licensed subcontractor needs to be brought in for plumbing, electrical, or specialty work
• Performing basic carpentry, drywall, texture, trim, and punch-list work when needed
• Working solo or leading a helper depending on the project
• Communicating professionally with clients, managers, and other team members
• Identifying change order or upsell opportunities when additional work is needed
• Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
• Uploading job photos, notes, and updates using company technology

Required Experience

You must have proven experience with:

• Full bathroom remodels
• Shower waterproofing from start to finish
• Tile layout, cutting, leveling, setting, grouting, and finish details
• Shower wall tile, shower pans, bathroom floors, niches, edges, and transitions
• Reading and following a scope of work
• Working cleanly in occupied homes
• Showing up on time and staying productive throughout the day

You should be able to talk confidently about waterproofing systems you have used, what you like about them, and why you prefer certain methods.

Additional Skills That Increase Pay

The more you can handle, the more valuable you are to our team. Additional experience with the following is a plus:

• Moving standard bathroom water lines
• Hooking into existing plumbing
• Basic electrical relocation for bathroom remodels
• Drywall repair and texture matching
• Finish carpentry
• Baseboards, casing, doors, and trim
• Painting and touch-ups
• Cabinet/vanity installation
• Client communication and job leadership

We do not expect you to replace cast iron drain systems or perform work that should be handled by a licensed subcontractor. We do expect you to understand remodel work well enough to know what you can handle and when to ask for the right trade.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Most of your own hand tools and tile tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed
• Clean, professional appearance
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using a smartphone/app for job photos, notes, and updates
• Able to work full-time Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability when needed
• Must be punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
